Psychoanalysis in the face of domestic, professional and social violence

Every day we are bombarded with news of violent acts that express the irreducibility of human aggression. Femicide and child abuse are compounded by more gross aspects observed in wars and terrorist acts, committed in the name of religious ideals or to assert alleged territorial rights. The purpose of such brutality remains incomprehensible without reference to the unconscious components that guide human behavior.
